Press trip to Denmark to discover the stages of manufacturing of the timeless CH24 Wishbone chair by Carl Hansen & Søn.
De retour à Amsterdam avec des étoiles dans les yeux ! Après deux jours de rêves au Danemark entre Copenhague et Funen, à l’occasion du press tour Carl Hansen and Søn. Dans le flagship store de Copenhague, nous avons d'abord eu un délicieux déjeuner danois, suivi d'une séance de stylisme autour de l'édition limitée du 60e anniversaire de la chaise CH07 de Hans J. Wegner.
Ensuite, une nuit dans le fabuleux château d'Hindsgavl — j'ai adoré l'atmosphère d'Halloween là-bas ! Et le meilleur pour la fin, nous avons eu la chance de découvrir les différentes techniques de fabrication et d'assemblage de l'emblématique chaise CH24, dans l'usine située à Gelsted. J'étais entourée d'une équipe formidable. Je me sens honorée d'avoir eu la chance de vivre cela !
Back in Amsterdam with sparkles in my eyes! After two days of dreams in Denmark between Copenhagen and Funen, for the international press tour Carl Hansen and Søn.
In the flagship store in Copenhagen, we had first a nice danish lunch and then, a styling session around the limited edition 60th anniversary version of the CH07 chair by Hans J. Wegner. After that, a night in the fabulous Hindsgavl Castle — I loved the Halloween atmosphere there!
And the best for the end, we had the chance to discover the different manufacturing and assembly techniques of the iconic CH24, in the Factory based in Gelsted.
I was surrounded by a great team. I feel blessed to had the chance to live this!
